#ÅretsJulklapp 2023 är - brädspel! Vi kan inte annat än att hålla med. Kan ju hävdas att vi tycker att det är Årets Julklapp VARJE år, men det är en annan historia. Ion Game Design har alltid trott på brädspelens fantastiska förmåga att förena människor. Namnet ION är det engelska ordet för en jon inom kemi. Det är inspirerat av joners egenskaper att genom sin laddning bilda molekyler med sina jonbindningar. På samma sätt som ett brädspel samlar ett antal personer att uppleva en designad utmaning tillsammans. Och givetvis är det också inspirerat av att grundaren heter Jon Manker.
HUI motiverar:
Att samlas med nära och kära och få en välbehövlig paus från verkligheten är något vi söker oss till i svåra tider. Samtidigt växer ny teknik fram som förnyar en traditionell produktkategori. Årets Julklapp är en gåva som förenar och skapar samhörighet för svenska folket. Årets Julklapp 2023 är sällskapsspelet.

The Xmas gift of the year 2023 is - boardgames! One might argue that we here at Ion Game Design think boardgames are the Xmas gift of EVERY year, but that is a story for a different day. Ion Game Design has always believed in the amazing ability of board games to unite people. The name ION is inspired by the properties of ions that, through their charge, they form molecules through their ionic bonds. In the same way that a board game gathers a number of people to experience a designed challenge together. In addition, the Swedish word for an ion is "jon" and ION Game Design's founder is the swede Jon Manker.

Gathering with loved ones and getting a much-needed break from reality is something we seek in difficult times.
