Across 6 Phases

Every turn represents a generation, with six distinct phases where you’ll:

Resolve Events: Face challenges like animal migration, resource shortages, or global cooling.

Assign Hunters: Send hunters to gather resources, colonize new lands, raid rivals, or promote them to elders.

Negotiate: Trade, forge alliances, or plan raids. Marry daughters into rival tribes to secure peace or bolster your power.

Resolve Hunts: Hunt for food and resources, but beware – some hunters may not return. Successful hunts unlock new cards and advantages.

Maintain Livestock: Manage and sustain your domesticated animals.

Elder Actions: Invent new technologies, tame animals, spread your beliefs, or even engage in witch trials.

Choose a Tribe

Step into the shoes of the four tribes inhabiting Greenland between the 1100s and 15th century:

In Greenland, four tribes struggle for survival from the 11th to the 15th centuries: the Tunit (Green), the Norse (Red), the Sea Sámi (Blue), and the Thule (Yellow). Each tribe seeks food, resources, and technology to support children, elders, and livestock while facing harsh weather, resource extinction, and rival tribes. Through hunting, negotiation, and elder actions, you’ll build your tableau, protect your people, and decide between monotheism or polytheism. The game unfolds over ten generations, and in the end, the tribe with the most victory points wins.
